19-year-old male charged in relation to weekend disturbance at McDonalds

EPS Northwest Division officers have charged the 19-year-old male allegedly responsible for the assault of several bystanders at a McDonalds over the weekend.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, Northwest Division patrol officers were called to a McDonalds located at 10520 111 Avenue on the report of a disturbance.  

 

Upon arrival, police located three bystanders holding a 19-year-old male suspect on the ground outside the restaurant. The suspect appeared to be intoxicated and had allegedly assaulted approximately eight people unknown to him inside the restaurant.

 

EMS attended the scene, but paramedics were not required to treat or transport anyone to hospital.

 

Delaney Quinn, 19, is charged with assault (x8), assaulting a police officer (x2), mischief and failing to comply with a probation order.

 

Northwest Division officers continue to investigate.
