Police identify suspect who stole from woman in a wheelchair

The Edmonton Police Service has identified a suspect that allegedly stole a cell phone from woman in a wheelchair.

Jasper Halfe, 19, is wanted on warrants for theft under, breach of probation and breach of recognizance, related to this incident.

5’10” tall, weighs 190 lbs

 

On Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017, a woman who was waiting for a DATS bus around 7 a.m. reported that a male suspect approached her in the area of 16 Avenue and 48 Street. He asked to borrow her cell phone to call his grandmother. When the woman reluctantly handed him the cell phone, the suspect ran away with it.
