The EPS Major Collision Investigation Unit (MCIU) continues to investigate a collision that injured a pedestrian early this morning. Police are looking for a suspect vehicle and driver that fled the scene after the collision.

At approximately 3 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014, a blue Subaru that was observed driving erratically on 105 Street, between Jasper Avenue and 100 Avenue, struck a parked vehicle. The 30-year-old male pedestrian who was standing beside the vehicle that was struck by the Subaru (on the west side of 105 Street), was injured when the car pinned him between that and another vehicle parked on the road.

The man was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect vehicle is missing its front bumper, and police are looking for any information that could lead them to the driver’s and vehicle’s whereabouts.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.tipsubmit.com/start.htm
