Police seek public's assistance identifying armed robbery suspect

The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect following two separate armed robberies at convenience stores this week.

On Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, at approximately 9:30 p.m., a male suspect reportedly entered a convenience store in the area of 118 Avenue and 34 Street, brandished a knife at an employee and took cash from the register.

On Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023, at approximately 9:50 p.m. the same male suspect reportedly entered a convenience store in the area of 118 Avenue and 103 Street, again brandished a knife at an employee and took cash from the register.

In both incidents, the suspect was aggressive with employees and investigators are concerned this behavior could escalate to a more violent event. As such, police are reaching out to the public to assist with the identification of the suspect. Photos and videos of the suspect are included below.
