Police seek public assistance to identify deceased man

An autopsy has not been able to identify a man found dead by the roadside on the outskirts of Edmonton.

Today, Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, an autopsy completed by the Edmonton Medical Examiner has determined that a man found deceased on Feb. 10 near Rabbit Hill Snow Resort was the victim of a Homicide. The cause of death is not being released for investigative reasons.

The deceased has yet to be identified, and investigators are seeking public tips to assist. He is described as 5’11” tall, weighing 163 lbs. He was 25-40 years old, with black hair and a beard. He was wearing a long sleeved, button-up, blue plaid flannel shirt, grey Hugo Boss sweatpants and black Air Jordan shoes.

Investigators are releasing a sketch of the man in the hopes that someone will recognize him and come forward to police.
