It was reported to police that on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020, at approximately 7:35 p.m., a collision occurred between a female pedestrian and a vehicle in the intersection of 107 Avenue and 123 Street.
A 25-year-old woman and her husband were walking southbound across 107 Avenue on the east side of 123 Street. The vehicle, a 2012 Ford Escape being driven by a 72-year-old woman, was travelling westbound along 107 Avenue and approaching 123 Street in the curb lane.
The pedestrian was struck by the vehicle in the cross walk within the intersection and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The complainant’s husband was not injured. The female driver remained on scene. Speed and impairment are not considered to be factors in the collision.
EPS would like to speak with any witnesses who may have saw the collision on 107 Avenue Tuesday evening.
