Canada-wide warrant issued to locate man involved in weekend shooting

The Edmonton Police Service Homicide Section has issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of Arman Dhillon, 21, who was allegedly involved in the shooting death of Amin Mohammed Abdullahi, 30, outside a lounge over the weekend.

Abdullahi, 30, and another man in his 20’s were shot in the area of 81 Avenue and 105 Street early Sunday morning (Mar. 27, 2016). Both men were treated and transported to hospital, where Abdullahi succumbed to his injuries. The other man in his 20’s remains in hospital, in serious but stable condition.

Dhillon, 21, is described as being an East Indian male, with dark brown eyes and black hair.

Dhillon is wanted on a total of 21 charges including first-degree murder, attempted murder while using a restricted firearm, aggravated assault, using a firearm in commission of offence and a number of other breaches.

Dhillon is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
