Police look for witnesses after morning collision and altercation with firearms

The Edmonton Police Service is asking the public to come forward if they witnessed any suspicious activity or witnesses a two-vehicle collision around 8:30 a.m. today, Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016 in the area of 159 Street and 103 Avenue.

It was reported that a black Honda Civic and a black Chrysler 300 were involved in a collision. Shortly after, unknown occupants were allegedly involved in an altercation that involved an exchange of gun fire. 

Upon police arrival, both vehicles were vacated and no one involved in the incident remained on scene.
